Exceeded all of our expectations – both in terms of the process and the final result. My partner and I live in an apartment in South Yarra. We initially engaged the services of Arthur and his team to undertake the renovation of our bathroom and ensuite.
Anyone who has renovated an apartment knows there are challenges, but Arthur and his team were able to turn a negative into a positive.
My partner and I were so impressed with the results that we brought forward the next stage of our renovations which included remodeling a European laundry into a laundry that is highly functional as well a beautiful. The bedrooms were altered to make the master bedroom feel like more spacious without losing any usable space in the second bedroom.
All wet areas were completely stripped out, waterproofed and re-tiled.
Custom cabinetry was installed in the bathroom and ensuite as well as the laundry and bedrooms.
We are starting to plan stage three of our renovations, and will be using House Sanctuary Builders again without hesitation.

Arthur and his team did an incredible job converting our old laundry into a new bathroom + laundry, and flipping our old bathroom into an extra bedroom. Before and after photos says it all – night and day. I was so lucky to have found Arthur after despairing over other quotes – House Sanctuary Builders is very competitive on cost, and Arthur’s communication was what really gave me the confidence to trust his team and the process. He championed all of my ideas (which wasn’t always easy, retrofitting to an old 1890s Victorian!), super quick to respond when I had questions, going over and above to fix up any issues. Would recommend Arthur as a builder to anyone who is thinking about a renovation!

Extremely happy with the 2 bathrooms and laundry/powder room House Sanctuary did for us. Arthur is a great communicator and made sure his trades worked together to minimise the time we had without the bathrooms. The workmanship was high quality, really happy with the tiling work and install. He also helped us get a good discount on tiles and fittings. I’d highly recommend House Sanctuary.

  1. ON-SITE QUOTE Our team will visit the site to assess the proposed repairs and provide you with a comprehensive quote for your approval.
  2. CONFIRMATION OF BRIEF Before starting the project, we’ll finalize your choice of tiles, fixtures, and fittings while thoroughly explaining the schedule and expected timeframes.
  3. DEMOLITION/STRIP OUT We’ll completely strip out the bathroom (and other work areas) and perform any necessary service rough-ins, such as plumbing and electrical, if required.d.
  4. PREPARATION WORKS During this stage, we’ll focus on fixing the cladding, as well as floor screed and waterproofing.
  5. CLADDING We’ll move on to installing floor and wall coverings (tiles) and completing the grouting process.
  6. FIT OFF Our team will expertly install vanity units, taps, and other plumbing and electrical fixtures and fittings, including the shower screen.
  7. COMPLETION AND HANDOVER The final stage includes any required painting works and caulking for the tiling. Once everything is complete, your rejuvenated living space is ready for you to enjoy.
